Smart Hybrid Light – universal cameras that have the ability to switch between three night shooting modes:

  1. Constant color mode 24/7 (ColorVu) with constant backlight in the form of white light (in this mode, the white backlight can also be turned off permanently if the scene is sufficiently lit).
  2. Smart Hybrid Light – if the camera does not detect any event, it shoots in black and white mode with the help of infrared light. If the camera evaluates the event, it switches to full color mode and turns on the white light.
  3. Permanent black-and-white night mode using infrared light in which the camera captures in the black-and-white spectrum and does not emit any visible light.

All types of cameras with the Smart Hybrid Light function use confocal lenses that ensure perfect image sharpness in color and black and white mode. They use a light aperture of size F=1.0, thanks to which they can process up to 40% more light, which has the effect of extending the time in which the camera shoots in full-color day mode without the need to use any kind of backlight.
